Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit
Shift: 3x12-hour Night
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or stepdown experience
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Valid RN compact or state license required
- Certifications:
ACLS and BLS (BCLS) - Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, IV starts, and non-invasive airway support
- Experience with IV insulin protocols, and management of peripheral IV, PICC, and central lines
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to adult patients with transplant-related diagnoses and other PCU/stepdown conditions
- Monitor and interpret telemetry to identify dysrhythmias
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Compliance / Notes:
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Submission requirements: RTO required, 2 professional references required
- Compliance deadline is the Tuesday prior to start – no exceptions
- Ohio fingerprinting required immediately after contract signing
