Description:
The position is in a specialized emergency department unit designed to meet the urgent needs of cancer patients. The registered nurse will provide care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring is required. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. In addition, the nurse will be responsible for various emergency care tasks as needed. Candidates must have current acute care experience and be actively working in the specialty they are applying for.
This role requires dedication, flexibility, and excellent communication skills. Must meet compliance deadlines for credentialing. Two professional references are required, with at least one reference from a manager or supervisor.
