Description:
Care for adult and geriatric patients diagnosed with acute leukemia. Responsible for administering blood products, IV antibiotics, and electrolytes. Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Manage central lines, including PICC lines and peripheral line care. Support with patient falls prevention and infection prevention protocols. Utilize interdisciplinary support teams, including pharmacy and social services. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in patient care.
Participate in self-scheduling requests to accommodate preferred work schedules. Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. Maintain accurate computerized charting using EPIC system. Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients.
