Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Title

Candidates with only 1 year of experience may now be considered, but they will not receive automatic offers. Their profiles will need to be reviewed by the manager.

Unit Details

• 22 beds (16 rooms)
• Average daily census: 20
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Common cases include burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries
• Special procedures include burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• Shift: 12-hour nights 7:00PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other/third weekend required
• Floating within OSU required

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS required
• 1 years of recent PCU experience required
• Experience with similar patient population preferred
• Previous charge RN experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
