Critical Care Float Pool RN – Weekend Focused
Shift: Weekends 7:00 AM + one weekday shift per week
Minimum 2 years ICU experience
Travel experience required
Must have 2 professional references (1 from a manager/director)
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Proficiency with EPIC
Skills:
IV start, Telemetry, Ventilator management
Provide critical care to adult patients across multiple ICUs.
Float between various critical care units as needed.
Monitor patient conditions and administer treatments or medications.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the EMR system.
Participate in care planning and implementation of patient education.
Strict credentialing/fingerprinting timeline: candidates must complete fingerprinting immediately after booking.
RTO (return to office/on-site requirement) must be included with submission.
Licensure: RNs must have a valid compact or state license in hand at the time of submission.
Education:
ACEN or CCNE accredited program required.
Vaccine requirements:
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required.
Candidate responsiveness is crucial; unresponsive candidates may be pushed or canceled.
Local hires accepted at the same rate; current employees are ineligible.
