Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

Travel RN – Cardiovascular/Cardiac ICU

Schedule:

Nights (36 hours per week) Rotating holidays

Assignment Details:

Requirements:

• Valid state RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular/Cardiac ICU
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and IV starts

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for post-operative cardiac patients.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions using advanced equipment.
• Administer medications and titrate vasoactive drips as ordered.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Compliance / Notes:

• Urgent fingerprinting process required before start date.
• RTO (requests for time off) must be included with submission.
• Current employees are ineligible for travel hire.
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
