American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring OH or compact RN licensure and EFM-NCC or AWHONN certification.

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• 13-week contract assignment
• Requires 4 single weekend shifts within a 12-week period (Friday or Saturday night)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• No floating requirements beyond first-to-float traveler policy
• No on-call responsibilities
• EPIC charting system experience required

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• EFM-NCC or AWHONN certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• EPIC charting experience required

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a Labor and Delivery unit
• Travelers are prioritized first for floating assignments
• Maximum of 10 days requested time off per contract, with no RTO permitted during the initial weeks of the assignment
• Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility
• Former Ohio Health employees must have a 366-day separation before returning as a traveler
• PRN employees currently active with Ohio Health may not accept travel assignments concurrently
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space with no pass required
• Attendance policy: more than one call-off results in termination, and no call/no show results in immediate termination
