Registered Nurse

The position requires a registered nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. This role involves working with patients who have soft tissue malignancies and require continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration. Responsibilities include chemotherapy administration and symptom management. Management of comorbidities is also a focus. Infection prevention and patient fall protocols are essential elements of care. Candidates will be required to float to equivalent or lower acuity units as necessary.

An understanding of telemetry and MS/Tele nursing is critical. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams are expected. Patient care will be focused on adults and geriatrics. This position emphasizes symptom management secondary to disease-related treatment or progression. Candidates must have the ability to work flexible schedules, including rotating day and night shifts. Compliance with patient safety protocols and quality standards is mandatory.

The nursing team will provide support to patients throughout their treatment process. Continuous professional development and adherence to best practices in nursing are expected.
