Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse – Medical Oncology Telemetry

Schedule:

12-hour rotating Days/Nights

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
• At least 1 year of PCU/stepdown experience in a high-acuity setting
• Current acute care practice within the last 12 months
• BLS (BCLS), ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Experience with telemetry and vascular access including ports, PICC, and IV starts

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-acuity nursing care for adult oncology patients, including monitoring and administering treatments.
• Interpret telemetry readings and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer blood products and care for enteral feeding tubes.
• Manage airway and oxygenation needs, including non-invasive ventilation.
• Oversee chest tube management and PCA administration.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 72 hours
• Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions accepted
• Ohio fingerprinting required promptly after booking
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
