Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse – Med-Surg Oncology

Schedule:

12-hour rotating shifts (day/night) or night option available

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
• Oncology experience preferred
• Current acute care experience (within last 12 months) in the specialty applied for
• Required:
  
  Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Experience with charting system: EPIC
• Key clinical skills include telemetry/dysrhythmia interpretation, IV starts, peripheral/Central line/PICC care, blood product administration, port access, arterial line management, and chemotherapy administration

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients undergoing chemotherapy for cardiac stability
• Manage patient symptoms and provide care for oncology-related diagnoses
• Implement infection prevention protocols and assess fall risk
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation duration: 72 hours
• Completion of background checks and fingerprinting required
• Pre-approved time off must be included with submission
• COVID-19 vaccine not required;
  Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
