Emergency Department Registered Nurse
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with patient safety guidelines and best practices.
Schedule:
Day shift 06:00 AM - 06:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in the emergency department.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and disease processes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Previous emergency department or critical care experience is a plus.
- Compliance with health screening requirements as detailed.
