Description:
Candidates with only 1 year of experience may now be considered, but their profiles will need to be reviewed by the manager. Shift is nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. 12-hour shifts are required. Schedule includes every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights). All candidates must have acute care experience within the last 12 months in the specialty they are applying for.
Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must have skills in interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, and peripheral line care. Floating to different units may be required as needed. Weekend coverage is not required. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The daily census for the unit is approximately 34. It is essential that candidates provide two professional references, with at least one coming from a manager or supervisor.
Current employees are ineligible for hire in traveler roles. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
