Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule:

3 x 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; some weekends/holidays required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years MS/Tele nursing experience
• Current BLS/BCLS
• Epic experience required
• Comfortable with patient ratios of 1:4–1:5
• Clinical skills: IV starts & peripheral line care, telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, starting/maintaining IVs
• Additional skills: ACLS, PICC management, trach care preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, with a focus on adult and geriatric populations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to equivalent or lower acuity units as needed within the healthcare system.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Compliance / Notes:

• Strict compliance deadline: submission by Tuesday prior to start (no exceptions)
• Candidates must complete fingerprints immediately after signing contract; delays may cause push/cancel
• RNs must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager/director (no coworker-only references)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
