Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

Travel RN – Cardiovascular/Cardiac ICU

Shift: Nights (36 hours) - Rotating holidays
- Weekend expectations:
Up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period

Patient ratio:
Estimated 1:1–1:2 - Patient population:
Adults; daily census ~28, 30 beds

Preferred: 2 years cardiac ICU/CVICU experience
- Epic experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS

Provide expert nursing care to post-operative cardiac and complex cardiac patients. Monitor and manage hemodynamics, including using advanced technologies like ECMO and VADs. Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including titration of vasoactive and cardiac drips. Conduct assessments and interventions based on patient needs, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery processes.

Orientation: 36 hours
- Urgent fingerprinting process for compliance required before start date
- Valid compact or state license must in hand at time of submission - RTO required with submission
