Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Mixed Med-Surg/PCU

Role:
Specialty Registered Nurse – Mixed Med-Surg/PCU

Schedule:

Variable shifts assigned to meet organizational needs (may be primarily nights or days). Some weekends required (3–4 weekend days/month).

Assignment Details:
Patient ratio: 4:1 (days, nights, weekends).

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• IV certification
• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Preferred: EPIC experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a mixed Med-Surg/PCU setting.
• Start and manage IVs and administer medications.
• Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatments.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and provide patient education.
• Assist with basic critical care interventions and participate in rapid response/code teams.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 36 hours
• Pre-approved time off: 1 day (per contract)
• Strict credentialing/fingerprinting deadline; must complete urgent fingerprinting after booking.
• Employment eligibility for former employees: must be away for 6 months.
