Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Schedule:
Every other weekend (Friday & Saturday nights)
Contract length: 13 weeks
Minimum 2 years RN experience; candidates with 1 year may be considered with manager review
Current acute care experience within the last 12 months
Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Valid compact or state RN license
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS
Telemetry/stepdown skills required (MS/Tele/PCU/IMC/Stepdown)
Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings for changes in patient condition.
Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered by the physician.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using electronic medical records (EMR).
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
Respond to medical emergencies and participate in rapid response/code teams.
Mandatory flu vaccine (medical exemptions only)
Ohio fingerprinting required immediately after signing contract
Return to Office (RTO) required with submission
