American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN
- Operating Room with a minimum of 2 years of experience and oncology experience for a cancer hospital surgical setting.
- Operating Room unit within a cancer hospital and research setting
- Day/Evening rotating schedule combining 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts to total 40 hours per week
- Shift options include 06:30-17:00, 06:30-19:00, and 10:30-20:30, with weekly schedule varying based on unit need
- Call responsibilities as needed, including evening ), night ), and weekend , ) call
- Weekend coverage as needed
- Cases include neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general surgery, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, robotics (Da Vinci), and oncology procedures
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Oncology experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and CNOR certifications preferred
- Circulate and scrub experience preferred
- EPIC charting system experience required
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Previous travel nurse experience required
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- 2 professional references required, with at least one from a Manager/Director or Supervisor and the second from a Charge RN; no coworker references accepted
- Provide high-quality nursing care in circulating and scrubbing roles as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance will be required to drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio as soon as possible after booking, while those farther away will be mailed a fingerprinting packet to complete urgently upon receipt
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Former employees eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
- Current employees of Ohio State University hospital locations are ineligible for travel positions
- RTO must be submitted with the contract and limited to 7 days or less
