American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an active Ohio RN license and prior IR experience.
Details- Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM)
- 2 call shifts required during the contract
- Weekend coverage required every other or every third weekend as needed
- Floating may be required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand at time of submission
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Prior Interventional Radiology experience required
- Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Skills in circulating procedures and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias required
- Experience with Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, scrub procedures, electrophysiology procedures, and triage preferred
- 2 professional references required, with at least one from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role and the second acceptable from a Charge RN; no coworker references accepted
- Responsibilities include circulating procedures and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias in the IR setting
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- RTO must be submitted with the application and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
- Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
- Current employees of Ohio State University hospital locations are ineligible to be hired as a traveler
- Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly after signing the contract
- Candidates located outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location soon after booking, while those farther away will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet to complete urgently
