Schedule:
Every other weekend — Friday & Saturday nights
Assignment Details:
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Acute care experience must be current (working consistently in the last 12 months) in the specialty applied for
- Previous telemetry/PCU/stepdown experience required
- Experience with IV insulin protocols/insulin drips preferred
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- RN must have valid compact or state license
- Monitor patients' cardiac status through telemetry.
- Manage dysrhythmias and respond to rapid response/codes as necessary.
- Administer IV medications and manage IV insulin protocols/drips.
- Provide oxygen administration and ensure infection control practices are followed.
- Perform patient assessments and documentation accurately.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient care.
- Strict credentialing deadline: compliance deadline is Tuesday prior to start.
- Fingerprinting required as soon as candidate signs contract.
- RTO required with submission.
