RN – Acute Leukemia & Hematology

Schedule:

12-hour Day/Night (rotating shifts)

Requirements:

  • Valid RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience
  • At least 1 year of PCU/stepdown experience
  • Current acute care experience within the last 12 months
  • Travel experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • ONS Chemo certification preferred
  • NIHSS certification preferred
  • Proficiency with telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, blood product administration, and feeding tube care/management

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting
  • Monitor patient conditions and recognize dysrhythmias through telemetry
  • Administer IV therapies, including blood products
  • Manage feeding tubes and provide care for central lines
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care

Compliance / Notes:

  • Orientation: 72 hours
  • Background checks required
  • COVID-19 vaccination not required; flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
