Registered Nurse – PCU/Stepdown
Shift: 3x12s — Nights Estimated patient ratio: 1:3
Daily census / beds: 24
Minimum: 1 year PCU experience required Required certifications: BLS and ACLS EMR: EPIC experience required Core clinical skills: IV starts/maintenance, telemetry monitoring, heparin/insulin drips, tracheostomy care, wound care Familiarity with central/PICC care and bedside monitoring recommended
Provide high-quality patient care in a medical inpatient setting Monitor and interpret telemetry data and dysrhythmias Administer medications and IV therapy as per protocol Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Assist in the management of complex medical conditions
Urgent fingerprinting required immediately after booking Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccine not required;
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) Two pre-approved days off allowed (per contract)
