Registered Nurse (RN) - MICU

Registered Nurse – Medical ICU

Shift: 12D/N rotating (may include days, nights, or combinations)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Current acute care experience, specifically in the ICU
• Valid state or compact RN license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Experience with ventilator management, CRRT, arterial line and central line management, titration of vasoactive drips, blood product administration, and complex medication regimens

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients within the Medical ICU
• Manage complex medical equipment and support high-acuity patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 72 hours
• Background checks and compliance documentation required
• Time off requests must be submitted with contract
• Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only
