Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular/Cardiac ICU

Schedule:

- Shift: Nights
- Weekend expectations:
Up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period

Assignment Details:

- Daily census:
Approximately 28 patients; 30 beds/rooms

Requirements:

- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

- Experience:

Preferred 2 years of Cardiac ICU/CVICU experience - EMR:
Epic experience required
- Key clinical skills:

- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Advanced cardiac support
- Respiratory/ventilator management
- Critical care procedures

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Cardiovascular/Cardiac ICU setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including hemodynamic status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform critical care procedures and ensure proper equipment functioning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Compliance / Notes:

- Orientation: 36 hours
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Urgent compliance with background checks and licensing requirements after booking
