Description:
Candidates with only 1-2 years of experience may be considered, but they will not receive automatic offers. Profiles will need to be reviewed by the manager. Float pool staff may be required to float to different units of equivalent or lower acuity levels. Estimated patient ratios are 1:3-4. Specific skills required include IV start and telemetry experience. This position may require floating to different hospitals if needed.
Parking options will be available for agency staff. COVID-19 vaccination is not required, but the flu vaccine is mandatory for medical exemptions only. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must have experience with a variety of patient diagnoses. Successful candidates should be familiar with the charting system. Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams including physical therapy and respiratory services.
Potential candidates must be aware of the urgency of the credentialing process. Travelers who are currently outside the state will need to drive to a fingerprinting location as soon as possible. Two professional references are required, with at least one from a supervisory position. Previous employees must be away for at least six months to be eligible for travel assignments.
All candidates must have an education from an accredited nursing program.
