Virtual Obs RN

Ohio Health is seeking a Virtual Observation RN to provide remote monitoring and clinical oversight for patients across our Ohio Health network. In this role, you will assess patient status via telehealth tools, track vital signs and telemetry, escalate changes in condition, and collaborate with bedside teams to ensure safe, timely interventions. You'll deliver patient and family education, document accurately in the EHR, and support throughput and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote observation and monitoring for assigned patients using telehealth technologies
• Continuously assess patient status, vital signs, and telemetry, escalating changes promptly
• Collaborate with bedside nurses, providers, and care teams to support safe, timely interventions
• Document assessments, communications, and care plans accurately in the EHRSupport patient throughput, admission, observation, and discharge workflows
• Educate patients and families on care plans, safety, and follow-up needs
• Follow Ohio
• Health policies, quality, and safety protocols in all virtual care interactions
• Participate in continuous learning, quality improvement, and unit-based initiatives
