American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with OH or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of IR experience.
Details- Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Every other or every third weekend coverage required as needed
- Floating may be required
- On-call responsibilities include 2 shifts of call during the contract
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Active OH RN license or compact license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Interventional Radiology experience required
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Skills should include circulating procedures and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
- Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures preferred
- Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring preferred
- Scrub procedures experience preferred
- Electrophysiology procedures experience preferred
- Triage skills preferred
- 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager, director, or formal leadership role and the second from a charge RN or higher; coworker references not accepted
- Responsibilities include circulating procedures and managing dysrhythmias within the IR setting
- Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing the contract due to strict state requirements
- Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location as soon as possible after booking
- Candidates located far from Ohio will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet requiring prompt completion
- RTO must be submitted with the initial contract request and built into the schedule, limited to 7 days or less
- Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
- Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more
- Current employees of Ohio State University hospital locations are not eligible for travel assignments
- First-time travelers may be considered if they have relevant IR or RPR-specific skills
