American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with OH or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of IR experience.

• Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other or every third weekend coverage required as needed
• Floating may be required
• On-call responsibilities include 2 shifts of call during the contract
• EPIC charting experience preferred

• Active OH RN license or compact license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Interventional Radiology experience required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Skills should include circulating procedures and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures preferred
• Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring preferred
• Scrub procedures experience preferred
• Electrophysiology procedures experience preferred
• Triage skills preferred
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager, director, or formal leadership role and the second from a charge RN or higher; coworker references not accepted

• Responsibilities include circulating procedures and managing dysrhythmias within the IR setting
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing the contract due to strict state requirements
• Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location as soon as possible after booking
• Candidates located far from Ohio will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet requiring prompt completion
• RTO must be submitted with the initial contract request and built into the schedule, limited to 7 days or less
• Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
• Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more
• Current employees of Ohio State University hospital locations are not eligible for travel assignments
• First-time travelers may be considered if they have relevant IR or RPR-specific skills
