Clinical Nurse Manager Neuro Surgical Services

Ohio Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for Neuro Surgical Services at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical and operational management of neuro surgical services in the operating room at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
• Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and case flow for neurosurgical procedures to ensure timely, safe, and efficient care.
• Provide visible, hands-on leadership to OR nurses, surgical technologists, and support staff, serving as a clinical resource and mentor.
• Promote and maintain high standards of patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance, including adherence to AORN and hospital policies.
• Lead or participate in performance improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives specific to perioperative and neurosurgical services.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize perioperative care plans and patient outcomes.
• Support recruitment, hiring, orientation, and ongoing competency assessment of OR staff, encouraging professional development and certification.
• Assist in budget management, resource utilization, and equipment/supply oversight related to neuro surgical services, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Analyze clinical and operational data to identify trends, address variances, and implement evidence-based practice changes.
