Staff RN-Trauma Intermediate Care

Ohio Health is seeking a Staff RN for our Trauma Intermediate Care unit  this role, you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to trauma patients requiring close monitoring, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support safe transitions of care. Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to trauma intermediate care patients, including assessments, medication administration, and wound care
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, telemetry, and patient responses to treatment, escalating concerns promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to support recovery
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record in accordance with Ohio
• Health policies
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standards for trauma and intermediate care populations
• Participate in continuous learning, unit-based councils, and quality improvement initiatives
• Precept and mentor new nurses and support staff as needed to promote team excellence
