Weekend coverage required.
Orientation: 36 hours;
Daily census: 60.
Minimum 2 years postpartum experience.
Labor & Delivery experience and IV start skills required.
EPIC charting experience required.
Telemetry interpretation required; RN must pass EKG exam prior to start.
BLS and IV certification required.
Provide family-centered care for postpartum adults and healthy newborns.
Caring for NAS infants and postpartum readmits (wound infection, preeclampsia).
Assist with newborn assessments and manage postpartum care, including hemorrhage management.
Support breastfeeding and provide education to new parents.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including social services and pharmacy.
Perform IV starts and maintenance as needed.
Parking permit options available for travelers; COVID-19 vaccine not required, flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
