American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with DaVinci Xi robot and liver transplant experience for a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital assignment.
Details- Operating Room department in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital setting
- Variable shift schedule including days and evenings, with 8s, 10s, or 12s
- Day shift option available as 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM to 11:30 PM
- Call required Monday-Friday , Saturday and Sunday and
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
- Scrubbing responsibilities required
- Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
- Level 1 Trauma center experience required
- Experience with DaVinci Xi Robot required
- Liver transplant experience required
- Experience in Neuro or Ortho service lines required (at least one)
- EPIC charting system experience required
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role and the second from a Charge RN or higher (no coworker references accepted)
- Performs scrub duties across a range of surgical specialties including general surgery, gynecology, plastics, trauma, neurology, orthopedics, urology, ENT, and robotics-assisted procedures
- Preferred experience includes Eyes, ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns
- Works within a transplant program including heart, kidney, liver, and lung procedures
- Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon signing contract, with candidates outside Ohio required to travel to a fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet
- RTO must be submitted and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Former employees eligible for travel assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more
- Current employees of any Ohio State University hospital location are ineligible to be hired as a traveler
