Registered Nurse; RN

Operating Room RN – Level 1 Trauma

Nights, 36 hours per week. Holiday and weekend coverage required; three weekend shifts every 13 weeks as needed.

• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• Required clinical experience:
  Liver transplant and DaVinci Xi robot (both are HARD STOPS).
• Must have experience with at least one of:
  Neuro OR Ortho (proficiency required).
• Preferred:
  Ophthalmology experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
• Extensive OR scrub experience across general, robotic, laparoscopic, trauma, neuro, ortho, transplant, and specialty surgeries.

• Provide nursing care and assist in surgical procedures within the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Monitor and assess patients pre, during, and post-surgery.
• Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and recovery.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.

COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only). Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting as soon as the contract is signed.
