Registered Nurse – Postpartum

ScheduleWeekend coverage required.
Assignment Details36 hours of orientation.
Requirements- Minimum 2 years postpartum experience.
- Labor & Delivery experience required.
- IV start skills required.
- Epic charting experience required.
- BLS and IV certification required.
- Telemetry interpretation required; must pass EKG exam prior to start.
- Provide care to postpartum adults and healthy newborns.
- Assess and manage conditions related to postpartum care.
- Support couplet care for mother and infant.
- Address issues related to newborn assessments, including NAS and low-birth-weight infants.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
- Support breastfeeding and infant feeding practices.
References required: 2 professional references, including at least one from a manager or director. Valid RN license required at the time of submission.
