RN Nurse, Surgical Assistant
RN – Surgical Nursing
Full-time position with a mix of 4x10, 5x8, and 2x8 + 2x12 shifts totaling 40 hours per week. Shift start options include 06:30–17:00, 06:30–19:00, and 10:30–20:30. Call and weekend coverage required as needed.
Typical daily census of approximately 45 patients with a patient population focused on surgical and perioperative cases.
Requirements- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Travel experience required
- Preferred:
Experience in neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, and robotic (Da Vinci) cases - Oncology experience preferred
- Required:
BCLS/BLS certification - Experience with EPIC charting required
- Preferred: ACLS certification, CNOR, and circulating and scrub experience
- Provide direct patient care in a surgical setting.
- Assist in surgical procedures and ensure a safe environment.
- Monitor patient status and progress post-operation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Participate in educational opportunities and professional development.
Compliance with credentialing deadlines is mandatory. Background checks and drug screenings may be required. Parking details will be provided upon contract acceptance.
