Registered Nurse – Postpartum
Schedule
Weekend coverage required.
Assignment Details
Daily census is 60 patients.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years postpartum experience required.
- Labor & Delivery experience and IV start skills required.
- EPIC charting experience required.
- BLS and IV certification required.
- Telemetry interpretation required; RN must pass EKG exam prior to start.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide couplet care for postpartum patients and their infants.
- Conduct newborn assessments and manage care for NAS infants.
- Monitor and manage postpartum complications such as wound infection and preeclampsia.
- Support breastfeeding and newborn feeding needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Compliance / Notes
Urgent Ohio fingerprinting required. Candidates outside Ohio may need to drive to an Ohio fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet urgently.
