Weekend coverage required; scheduling type is flexible.

This is a 36-hour orientation position.

• Minimum of 2 years postpartum experience required.
• Labor & Delivery experience and IV start skills required.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Telemetry interpretation required; RN must pass EKG exam prior to start.
• Current BLS and IV certification required.

• Provide family-centered care for postpartum adults and healthy newborns.
• Manage common patient cases including vaginal and C-section deliveries, NAS infants, and low-birth-weight infants.
• Support breastfeeding and perform newborn assessments, including monitoring for hypoglycemia and managing phototherapy.
• Handle postpartum complications such as hemorrhage management and infection control.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams.
