Registered Nurse In The Pcu At James Cancer Hospital
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the PCU at James Cancer Hospital, where you'll provide critical care to oncology patients.
What You'll Be Doing- Provide high acuity care in a progressive care unit
- Manage patient care for solid tumor and orthopedic oncology cases
- Utilize advanced telemetry and monitoring equipment
- Implement infection prevention protocols and fall prevention strategies
- Float between units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- BCLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
- At least 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 year of PCU experience
- Experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Experience using rapid response teams
- Proficient in central line care and management
- High acuity PCU patient experience
- Experience in chemotherapy administration
- Management of dysrhythmias
