Registered Nurse In The PCU At James Cancer Hospital
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the PCU at James Cancer Hospital, where you'll provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for PCU and Med Surg patients
- Administer chemotherapy and manage oncologic emergencies
- Perform blood transfusions and IV antibiotic therapy
- Monitor and manage insulin and heparin drips
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols
- Float within scope of practice as needed
- Active RN license in Ohio
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- At least 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 year of PCU experience
- Experience with computerized charting using EPIC
- ONS Chemo certification
- Experience with chemotherapy administration
- Experience with oncologic emergencies
- Oncology nursing experience
