Description:
The Electrophysiology Lab provides comprehensive care for patients with complex heart rhythm disorders.
This position involves participation in a call rotation.
Travelers will engage in one week of weekday call every two months and one weekend of call every two months.
Weekday call is from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, following the regular shift.
Weekend call consists of 24-hour coverage.
Most call-ins are for pacemaker cases and typically last approximately 2 hours.
Call volume is generally low, with travelers rarely called in during weekdays.
Occasional weekend call-ins may be required based on patient needs.
The role includes performing specialized procedures such as cardiac ablations, device implantations, and advanced electrophysiology studies.
The team works with state-of-the-art mapping systems and the latest cardiology technologies.
Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team includes skilled nurses, radiology technologists, and physicians.
The environment is dynamic and focused on patient-centered care.
Candidates must be available for fingerprinting as part of the credentialing process.
Two professional references are required, including one from a managerial position.
