Registered Nurse Step Down Unit
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Step Down unit, where you'll provide critical care in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing- Provide nursing care in the Step Down unit
- Monitor patients' cardiac status and interpret dysrhythmias
- Administer IV insulin protocols and manage insulin drips
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float between units as required
- Work night shifts, including every other weekend
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least 2 years of step-down unit experience
- Previous telemetry experience
- Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
- Willingness to float within OSU
