Registered Nurse – Progressive Care
Nights; 36 hours/week; includes weekdays, occasional weekends, and rotating holidays.
Contract length may vary; guaranteed hours/week: 36.
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Experience in telemetry care, dysrhythmia recognition, IV access, and non-invasive airway support preferred.
Familiarity with IV insulin protocols and experience with paracentesis/kidney biopsy recovery care is helpful.
Two professional references required; at least one must be a manager or formal supervisor.
Must have a valid compact or state RN license in hand at the time of submission.
Provide nursing care in a telemetry/PCU step-down unit with a focus on abdominal transplant patients.
Monitor and manage patients with potential complications related to transplant surgery.
Perform procedures such as IV access, central line care, and paracentesis as needed.
Recognize and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
Educate patients and families about care plans and interventions.
COVID-19 vaccination is not required; flu vaccine is required with medical exemptions considered. Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately after signing the contract. Parking details will be provided upon contract signing.
