Registered Nurse Step Down Unit
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Step Down unit, where you'll provide critical care to patients with acute leukemia.
What You'll Be Doing- Provide nursing care in a step down unit for adult and geriatric patients
- Implement infection prevention and patient falls prevention protocols
- Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
- Administer IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood products
- Utilize Rapid Response Teams as needed
- Manage feeding tubes and central/PICC lines
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- At least 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Experience with Epic computerized charting
- Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Experience with phlebotomy and IV therapy
