Registered Nurse in the Step Down Unit
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Step Down unit, where you'll provide critical care to adult and geriatric patients.
What You'll Be Doing- Provide nursing care in a step down unit
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes
- Perform special procedures including burn dressings and flap checks
- Float between units as required
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Active BLS and ACLS certification
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a PCU or similar environment
- Willingness to float within OSU
- Experience in a PCU setting
- Familiarity with burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
