Experienced Labor & Delivery RN needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Columbus, Ohio. Join a busy Level 4 women’s and infant care unit, provide high-acuity obstetric care, and make an impact on every shift.

- End Date: 1/18/2027
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 - $2,160
- Setting: Level 4 Labor & Delivery unit with approximately 450 deliveries per month
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Patient Ratio: 1:1 on days and nights
- Floating: May be required to float within related women’s health and obstetric units as needed
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Active RN license in hand at time of submission
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced
- Epic charting experience required
- IV start experience required
- Strong knowledge of L&D workflows, fetal monitoring, and obstetric patient care
- Experience with high-acuity obstetric procedures preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Provide skilled, compassionate care to laboring, antepartum, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients
- Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and recovery care in a Level 4 women’s and infant care setting
- Perform IV starts, medication administration, and blood product support as indicated
- Support triage, high-risk pregnancy, and postpartum care needs
- Collaborate with physicians, obstetric providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
- Use Epic documentation accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a calm, professional presence in a high-volume, fast-moving Labor & Delivery unit
