** Scope of Position:

* Position Summary:
** The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
* Minimum Qualifications
* For Hire: Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required.
Current Ohio license or interim permit. 2 years experience in relevant care setting preferred.
On-going: Maintains current Ohio RN license. Meets mandatory educational and health requirements. Demonstrates computer skills required to meet job functions.## Additional Information:
The Women & Infants Float Pool at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center provides nursing support across a variety of maternal and neonatal care settings, including Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Newborn care units. Nurses deliver high-quality, patient- and family-centered care while adapting to diverse clinical environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This role is ideal for experienced RNs who are flexible, clinically strong, and passionate about caring for women and infants across the continuum of care.##
