• Provide substitute nursing coverage for school clinics
• Serve students in K–12 public, private, and charter schools
• Follow district health protocols and procedures
• Provide coverage for absences, vacancies, or increased clinic needs
• PSI support available if clinical or workflow questions arise

As a PRN School Health Nurse, you help ensure students have access to safe and responsive healthcare during the school day.

Your work supports student wellness and allows schools to maintain a healthy learning environment so students can stay focused on learning.

• Provide nursing care and health support to students in school settings
• Administer medications and monitor student health needs
• Assess and respond to illness or injury
• Support communicable disease prevention and school health protocols
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and FERPA guidelines

• Active Ohio LPN License (Required)
• Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
• Pediatric or school health experience preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of medication administration and communicable disease prevention
• Current or willingness to obtain BLS or CPR/First Aid certification
