Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with DaVinci Xi robotic and liver transplant experience for a Level 1 Trauma center.

• Active OH state or compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Level 1 Trauma center experience required
• Experience with DaVinci Xi Robot required
• Liver transplant experience required
• Experience in Neuro or Ortho service lines required
• Ability to scrub required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or Supervisor and the second from a Charge RN or higher; no coworker references accepted

• Level 1 Trauma center operating room setting
• Variable shift schedule including days/evenings, working 8s, 10s, or 12s
• Day shift schedule listed as 4x10 hours, 6:30am-11:30pm
• Call required Monday-Friday , Saturday and Sunday  and
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
• Wide range of surgical service lines including Neuro, Ortho, General Surgery, Gynecology, Plastics, Trauma, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Transplant
• Robotic surgery experience utilized, including DaVinci Xi Surgical System
• EPIC charting system used
• Preferred experience includes ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns
• Preferred skills include eye trauma, glaucoma surgery, and cataract extraction/implant procedures
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon signing contract, with candidates outside the state required to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet
• RTO must be submitted with the contract and is limited to 7 days or less
• Former employees eligible for a travel assignment once away from the facility for 6 months or more
• Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
