Description:
We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for an Oncology Clinic position.
This position will focus on providing care to oncology patients currently receiving treatment.
The nurse will need to manage symptoms effectively.
Patient demographics include infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
You will work with a range of oncology diagnoses including head and neck, sarcoma, thoracic, and pediatric cancers.
The clinic treats various cancer types and provides symptom management.
The nurse will be required to float to different areas as needed.
Core responsibilities include accessing and managing ports, conducting patient education, and symptom management.
Candidates must have experience in administering treatments and therapies relevant to oncology patients.
The role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Strong communication skills are necessary to support both patients and their families.
All candidates must understand the urgency of the credentialing process and complete any required documentation promptly.
