Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Occupational Health & Safety
Job Description
A customer of Insight Global is looking to bring on a safety specialist to their team. The Safety Specialist supports efforts to provide a safe workplace for Company employees and subcontractors. They also help ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations, as well as the safety rules and requirements of the Company’s clients. This role is responsible for operating the Company Incident Line and representing the Company in the event of an OSHA inspection.

Estimated pay $65,000-$90,000

- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site logistics.

- High school diploma
- two (2) to Five (5) years’ experience in the construction industry preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and MUTCD preferred.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. (George J. Igel & Co., Inc. is a SUPR
- Drug-Free Workplace and tests for marijuana)
- Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement upon
- Must maintain an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) that meets the Company’s eligibility
Certifications:
- OSHA 500 and OSHA 510 preferred
- Construction Health and Safety Technician or Certified Safety Professional designation by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals preferred
