Essential Functions

  • Keep lab neat and organized/maintain retainer samples
  • Support and backup quality teammates (e.g. vacation coverage)
  • Equipment verification/calibration
  • Maintain records and databases
  • Lab and production floor testing/analytics
  • CoA creation/delivery
  • Review ERP system reports pertaining to statistical process control // publish snapshots
  • Support the NC-hold process
  • Monitor physical hold areas
  • Publish status updates
  • Accept/reject material based upon CoA results
  • Assist the Quality Manager to:
  • Improve the QMS
  • Monitor performance against goals/GMP compliance
  • Develop and execute improvement plans

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Technicians work either 12-hour shifts, 8 am to 8 pm or 8 pm to 8 am – 3 days on 2 days off, 2 days on 3 days off, Or 8-hour Monday-Friday 8 am to 4 pm, 4 pm to 12(midnight) or 12(midnight) to 8 am

Other Duties

Will follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce film solutions that meet regulatory, ISO, SQF, and company requirements. Will support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Quality Management Systems. Accountable to API’s Product Safety & Quality policy.
