OVERVIEWA well-established property management company is seeking an experienced and driven Leasing Manager to lead leasing efforts at a 144-unit market-rate residential community in Columbus, OH. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for driving occupancy, managing leasing performance, and delivering exceptional resident and prospect experiences. This position is ideal for a leasing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring others, and is motivated by performance-based incentives.
WHATYOU’LL DO
- Lead and manage all leasing activities for a 144-unit market-rate apartment community
- Drive leasing performance to achieve and exceed occupancy and revenue goals
- Conduct tours, close prospects, and oversee application and approval processes
- Develop and implement effective marketing and outreach strategies
- Monitor traffic, conversion, and leasing metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
- Maintain strong resident and prospect relationships through exceptional customer service
- Coordinate move-ins, renewals, and resident retention initiatives
- Support rent collection and assist with delinquency follow-up when needed
- Conduct regular market surveys and competitive analysis
- Maintain accurate leasing reports, CRM tracking, and documentation
- Partner closely with the Property Manager to support operational and financial goals
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies

WHAT IT TAKES- 2+ years of leasing or property management experience
- Proven track record of achieving strong leasing and occupancy results
- Excellent sales, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and follow-up abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach
- Experience with property management software preferred (Yardi, App Folio, or similar)
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed

- $60,000 base salary + up to $12,000 annually in performance-based incentives & bonuses
